"Pizza Angel"

Intro: Got the munchies on that fateful night. So I phoned in a pizza for delivery. But I had a feeling that something wasn't right cause I waited for hours.... no pizza.

Verse 1 I set he table with a paper plat. How would I know that it'd be late? I've waited so long, where could it be. Had a thirty minute guarantee.

Chorus: Pizza Angel pleases come to me. Tomato sauce and cheese so gooey. Pizza Angel I'm on my knees. You're my number one pie from Sicily.

Verse 2: Did it get lost? Did they just forget? should I have ordered on the internet? Ready for dinner Now I'm not so sure. I think my soda's room temperature.

Chorus; Pizza Angel please come to me.(come to me) Tomato sauce and cheese so gooey. Pizza Angel I'm on my knees (on my knees) And don't forget to add my favorite
anchovies.

Bridge: I was concerned for my delivery. Eight little slices of heaven for me. Can't stop thinking it will make me smile. When I taste me first Chicago style. Goin'
crazy while I pase the floor. And then my heart skips when I heard the door.

Talking: I opened the door in expectations but it was the saddest sight I ever saw. I could still smell the sweet aroma of deep dish goodness. But the box was empty. "Uh your house number was broken so I couldn't find you. I was getting kind of hungry so i uh ate your pizza. Sorry about that. You don't need to tip me or anything."

Chorus: Pizza Angel please come to me (come to me) Tomato sauce and cheese so gooey. Pizza Angel I'm on my knees (on my knees) You'll live forever in my memory. Pizza Angel please come to me (come to me) Tomato sauce and cheese so gooey. Pizza Angel I'm on my knees (on my knees) I will miss you for eternity.

"Voyage"

I am a sailor
you're my first mate
we signed on together
we coupled our fate
Hauled up our anchor
determined not to fail
for the heart's treasure
together we set sail.

With no maps to guide us
we steered our own course
we rode out the storms
when the winds were gale force
sat out the doldrums
in patience and hope
working together
we learned how to cope

Chorus
Life is an ocean
love is a boat
in troubled waters
keeps us afloat
when we started this voyage
there was just me and you
now gathered round us
we have our own crew

Together we're in this relationship
we built it with care
and to last the whole trip
Our true destination's
not marked on any chart
we're navigating
for shores of the heart

"The Gated Community"

Narrator: And now it's time for Silly Songs with Larry, the part of the show where Larry comes out and sings a Silly Song.

Some off-screen singer: There once was a boy
Who lived in a house
And the house sat under a tree
By the tree ran a fence that stretched far and wide
Round the gated community

Larry: Can I have my ball?
Can you get my ball?
I kicked it into the tree
And my ball bounced up
And my ball dropped in
To the Gated Community

Community folk: Oh! The Gated Community
Is where we like to be
Everything's so lovely
Oh, our hearts are filled with glee
And when you come to visit
You can stand outside and see
What a lovely bunch we are
In our gated unity!

Larry: Um...
Can I have my ball?
Can you get my ball?
I kicked it into the tree
And my ball bounced up
And my ball dropped in
To the Gated Community

Community folk: Oh! The Gated Community
Is where we like to be
Our clothes are never dirty
And the lawns are always green
And when you come to visit
You can stand outside and see
What a tidy bunch we are
In our gated unity!
The Gated Community
We think you will agree
Is pleasantly devoid
Of unsightly stray debris

Garbage man: Free, free of debris!

Community folk: The Gated Community
Is where we'll always be
Our smiles are white
Cause we're inside
In comfy custody
And when you come to visit
You can stand outside and see...

Community fellow (to garbage man): Come on, you stand outside...

Community folks: What a smiling bunch we are
In our gated unity!

Larry: Can I have my ball?
Can you get my ball?

Community folks: Oh, the Gated Community
Is where we like to be

Larry: I kicked it into the tree

Community folks: Our lives are made perfect
By a hefty entrance fee

Larry: And my ball bounced up
And my ball dropped in

Community folk: And when you come to visit
You can stand outside and see

Larry: To the gated commu--

Community folk: What a lovely bunch we are

Larry: To the gated commu--

Community folk: What a happy bunch we are

Folks and Larry: To the Gated Community!

Narrator: This has been Silly Songs with Larry.

Community fellow: Oh, look! A ball!

"I Will Sing of My Redeemer,"

Philip P. Bliss

I will sing of my Redeemer,
And His wondrous love to me;
On the cruel cross He suffered,
From the curse to set me free.

Refrain

Sing, oh sing, of my Redeemer,
With His blood, He purchased me.
On the cross, He sealed my pardon,
Paid the debt, and made me free.

I will tell the wondrous story,
How my lost estate to save,
In His boundless love and mercy,
He the ransom freely gave.

Refrain

I will praise my dear Redeemer,
His triumphant power I’ll tell,
How the victory He giveth
Over sin, and death, and hell.

Refrain

I will sing of my Redeemer,
And His heav’nly love to me;
He from death to life hath brought me,
Son of God with Him to be.

Refrain

"Wait for Me"

Darling did you know that I
I dream about you
Waiting for the look in your eyes
When we meet for the first time
Darling did you know that I
I pray about you
Praying that you will hold on
And keep your loving eyes only for me

Cause, I am waiting for
Praying for you darling
Wait for me too
Wait for me as I wait for you
Cause, I am waiting for
Praying for you darling
Wait for me too
Wait for me as I wait for you
Darling wait
Darling wait

Darling did you know I dream about life together
Knowing it will be forever
I'll be yours and you'll be mine
And darling when I say
Till death do us part
I'll mean it with all of my heart
Now and always faithful to you

Cause, I am waiting for
Praying for you darling
Wait for me too
Wait for me as I wait for you
Cause, I am waiting for
Praying for you darling
Wait for me too
Wait for me as I wait for you
Darling wait
Darling wait

Now I know you may have made mistakes
But there's forgiveness and a second chance
So wait for me
Darling wait for me
Wait for me
wait for me

Cause, I am waiting for
Praying for you darling
Wait for me too
Wait for me as I wait for you
Cause, I am waiting for
Praying for you darling
Wait for me too
Wait for me as I wait for you
Cause, I am waiting for
Praying for you darling
Wait for me too
Wait for me as I wait for you
Cause, I am waiting for
Praying for you darling
Wait for me too
Wait for me as I wait for you
Darling wait
Darling wait
Wait for me
Darling wait
Cause I'm waiting for you
Cause I'm waiting for you
So wait for me
Darling wait
Wait for me

Isaiah 40

Comfort for God's People
1 Comfort, comfort my people,
says your God.

2 Speak tenderly to Jerusalem,
and proclaim to her
that her hard service has been completed,
that her sin has been paid for,
that she has received from the LORD's hand
double for all her sins.

3 A voice of one calling:
"In the desert prepare
the way for the LORD [a] ;
make straight in the wilderness
a highway for our God. [b]

4 Every valley shall be raised up,
every mountain and hill made low;
the rough ground shall become level,
the rugged places a plain.

5 And the glory of the LORD will be revealed,
and all mankind together will see it.
For the mouth of the LORD has spoken."

6 A voice says, "Cry out."
And I said, "What shall I cry?"
"All men are like grass,
and all their glory is like the flowers of the field.

7 The grass withers and the flowers fall,
because the breath of the LORD blows on them.
Surely the people are grass.

8 The grass withers and the flowers fall,
but the word of our God stands forever."

9 You who bring good tidings to Zion,
go up on a high mountain.
You who bring good tidings to Jerusalem, [c]
lift up your voice with a shout,
lift it up, do not be afraid;
say to the towns of Judah,
"Here is your God!"

10 See, the Sovereign LORD comes with power,
and his arm rules for him.
See, his reward is with him,
and his recompense accompanies him.

11 He tends his flock like a shepherd:
He gathers the lambs in his arms
and carries them close to his heart;
he gently leads those that have young.

12 Who has measured the waters in the hollow of his hand,
or with the breadth of his hand marked off the heavens?
Who has held the dust of the earth in a basket,
or weighed the mountains on the scales
and the hills in a balance?

13 Who has understood the mind [d] of the LORD,
or instructed him as his counselor?

14 Whom did the LORD consult to enlighten him,
and who taught him the right way?
Who was it that taught him knowledge
or showed him the path of understanding?

15 Surely the nations are like a drop in a bucket;
they are regarded as dust on the scales;
he weighs the islands as though they were fine dust.

16 Lebanon is not sufficient for altar fires,
nor its animals enough for burnt offerings.

17 Before him all the nations are as nothing;
they are regarded by him as worthless
and less than nothing.

18 To whom, then, will you compare God?
What image will you compare him to?

19 As for an idol, a craftsman casts it,
and a goldsmith overlays it with gold
and fashions silver chains for it.

20 A man too poor to present such an offering
selects wood that will not rot.
He looks for a skilled craftsman
to set up an idol that will not topple.

21 Do you not know?
Have you not heard?
Has it not been told you from the beginning?
Have you not understood since the earth was founded?

22 He sits enthroned above the circle of the earth,
and its people are like grasshoppers.
He stretches out the heavens like a canopy,
and spreads them out like a tent to live in.

23 He brings princes to naught
and reduces the rulers of this world to nothing.

24 No sooner are they planted,
no sooner are they sown,
no sooner do they take root in the ground,
than he blows on them and they wither,
and a whirlwind sweeps them away like chaff.

25 "To whom will you compare me?
Or who is my equal?" says the Holy One.

26 Lift your eyes and look to the heavens:
Who created all these?
He who brings out the starry host one by one,
and calls them each by name.
Because of his great power and mighty strength,
not one of them is missing.

27 Why do you say, O Jacob,
and complain, O Israel,
"My way is hidden from the LORD;
my cause is disregarded by my God"?

28 Do you not know?
Have you not heard?
The LORD is the everlasting God,
the Creator of the ends of the earth.
He will not grow tired or weary,
and his understanding no one can fathom.

29 He gives strength to the weary
and increases the power of the weak.

30 Even youths grow tired and weary,
and young men stumble and fall;

31 but those who hope in the LORD
will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles;
they will run and not grow weary,
they will walk and not be faint.

History Behind "Danny Boy"

Danny Boy is the story of a father who has 4 boys. The eldest 3 have all gone
off to war and been killed. Now the youngest, Danny all of 16 years old is old enough to go to war himself (the pipes, the pipes of war are calling him). His father knows the odds and realizes that Danny too will probably be a casualty. In the event Danny lives however, the father knows he’s so old and broken hearted at the prospects of losing all his sons that he will die of a broken heart. This is his farewell song to his youngest son.

"Danny Boy"

Author: Fred Weatherly

Oh Danny Boy, the pipes the pipes are calling
from glen to glen and down the mountain side
the summer’s gone and all the flowers dying
it’s you it’s you must go and I must bide
but come ye back when summer’s in the meadow
or when the valley’s hushed and white with snow
it’s I’ll be here in sunshine or in shadow
Oh Danny Boy my Danny Boy I love you so

And when ye come and all the flowers are dying
if I am dead as dead I well may be
you’ll come and find the place where I am lying
and knell and say an Ave there for me
and I shall hear tho soft ye tread above me
and all my grave will warmer sweeter be
and if you bend and tell me that you love me
than I shall sleep in peace until you come to me

"In Me"

You said the words
And made the heavens
You breathed the stars
And put their place in the sky
You waved Your hand
Painted a sunset
You smiled and gave a heartbeat life

Crazy to think
That Your holy hands
Made everything I see
It's so hard to believe
That You the God of creation say
I've got this power in me

In me
There is strength to move a mountain
In me
There is faith to walk on water
In me
If I just believe
The Way and the Truth and the Life is
In me

So please remind me
When I feel useless
That my flesh and bone
Has more than meets the eye
Because you burn
Like a fire was in me
And there's nothing out of reach when I
Let your Spirit loose and be alive

In me
There is strength to move a mountain
In me
There is faith to walk on water
In me
If I just believe
The Way and the Truth and the Life is
In me

(You said the words
And made the heavens
You breathed the stars
And put their place in the sky
You waved Your hand
Painted a sunset
You smiled and gave a heartbeat life)

You set the world in motion
Put the waves in the ocean
And when it all comes down
I've got to believe
That You the God of creation say
I've got this power

In me
There is strength to move a mountain
In me
There is faith to walk on water
In me
There is strength to move a mountain
In me
There is faith to walk on water
In me
If I just believe
The Way and the Truth and the Life is
Oh, The Way and the Truth and the Life is
In me

Taps

Day is done, gone the sun,
From the lake, from the hills, from the sky;
All is well, safely rest, God is nigh.
Fading light, dims the sight,
And a star gems the sky, gleaming bright.
From afar, drawing nigh, falls the night.

Thanks and praise, for our days,
'Neath the sun, 'neath the stars, neath the sky;
As we go, this we know, God is nigh.

Sun has set, shadows come,
Time has fled, Scouts must go to their beds
Always true to the promise that they made.

While the light fades from sight,
And the stars gleaming rays softly send,
To thy hands we our souls, Lord, commend.

"You're a Grand Old Flag"

George M. Cohan

You're a grand old flag,
You're a high flying flag
And forever in peace may you wave.
You're the emblem of
The land I love.
The home of the free and the brave.
Ev'ry heart beats true
'neath the Red, White and Blue,
Where there's never a boast or brag.
Should auld acquaintance be forgot,
Keep your eye on the grand old flag.

You're a grand old flag,
You're a high flying flag
And forever in peace may you wave.
You're the emblem of
The land I love.

The home of the free and the brave.
Ev'ry heart beats true
'neath the Red, White and Blue,
Where there's never a boast or brag.
Should auld acquaintance be forgot,
Keep your eye on the grand old flag.

"The Star Spangled Banner"

Francis Scott Key

Oh, say, can you see, by the dawn's early light,
What so proudly we hail'd at the twilight's last gleaming?
Whose broad stripes and bright stars, thro' the perilous fight,
O'er the ramparts we watch'd, were so gallantly streaming?
And the rockets' red glare, the bombs bursting in air,
Gave proof thro' the night that our flag was still there.
O say, does that star-spangled banner yet wave
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave?

On the shore dimly seen thro' the mists of the deep,
Where the foe's haughty host in dread silence reposes,
What is that which the breeze, o'er the towering steep,
As it fitfully blows, half conceals, half discloses?
Now it catches the gleam of the morning's first beam,
In full glory reflected, now shines on the stream:
'Tis the star-spangled banner: O, long may it wave
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave!

And where is that band who so vauntingly swore
That the havoc of war and the battle's confusion
A home and a country should leave us no more?
Their blood has wash'd out their foul footsteps' pollution.
No refuge could save the hireling and slave
From the terror of flight or the gloom of the grave:
And the star-spangled banner in triumph doth wave
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave.

O, thus be it ever when freemen shall stand,
Between their lov'd homes and the war's desolation;
Blest with vict'ry and peace, may the heav'n-rescued land
Praise the Pow'r that hath made and preserv'd us a nation!
Then conquer we must, when our cause is just,
And this be our motto: "In God is our trust"
And the star-spangled banner in triumph shall wave
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave!

"The Marines Hymn"

"Semper Paratus"

From North and South and East and West,
The Coast Guard's in the fight.
Destroying subs and landing troops,
The Axis feels our might.
For we're the first invaders,
On every fighting field.
Afloat, ashore, on men and Spars,
You'll find the Coast Guard shield.

We're always ready for the call,
We place our trust in Thee.
Through howling gale and shot and shell,
To win our victory.
"Semper Paratus" is our guide,
Our pledge, our motto, too.
We're "Always Ready," do or die!
Aye! Coast Guard, we fight for you.

From Aztec shore to Arctic zone,
To Europe and Far East.
The Flag is carried by our ships,
In times of war and peace.
And never have we struck it yet,
In spite of foe-men's might,
Who cheered our crews and cheered again,
For showing how to fight.

We're always ready for the call,
We place our trust in Thee.
Through howling gale and shot and shell,
To win our victory.
"Semper Paratus" is our guide,
Our pledge, our motto, too.
We're "Always Ready," do or die!
Aye! Coast Guard, we fight for you.

SURVEYOR and NARCISSUS,
The EAGLE and DISPATCH,
The HUDSON and the TAMPA
The names are hard to match;
From Barrow's shores to Paraguay,
Great Lakes or ocean's wave,
The Coast Guard fought through storms and winds
To punish or to save.

We're always ready for the call,
We place our trust in Thee.
Through howling gale and shot and shell,
To win our victory.
"Semper Paratus" is our guide,
Our pledge, our motto, too.
We're "Always Ready," do or die!
Aye! Coast Guard, we fight for you.

Aye, we've been "Always Ready"
To do, to fight, or die
Write glory to the shield we wear
In letters to the sky.
To sink the foe or save the maimed
Our mission and our pride
We'll carry on 'til Kingdom Come
Ideals for which we've died.

We're always ready for the call,
We place our trust in Thee.
Through howling gale and shot and shell,
To win our victory.
"Semper Paratus" is our guide,
Our pledge, our motto, too.
We're "Always Ready," do or die!
Aye! Coast Guard, we fight for you.

"The Army Goes Rolling Along"

Brigadier General E.L. Gruber
The official United States Army Theme Song
Based on "The Caissons Go Rolling Along"
by Brigadier General E.L. Gruber

March along, sing our song, with the Army of the free
Count the brave, count the true, who have fought to victory
We’re the Army and proud of our name
We’re the Army and proudly proclaim

First to fight for the right,
And to build the Nation’s might,
And The Army Goes Rolling Along
Proud of all we have done,
Fighting till the battle’s won,
And the Army Goes Rolling Along.

Then it’s Hi! Hi! Hey!
The Army’s on its way.
Count off the cadence loud and strong (TWO! THREE!)
For where e’er we go,
You will always know
That The Army Goes Rolling Along.

Valley Forge, Custer’s ranks,
San Juan Hill and Patton’s tanks,
And the Army went rolling along
Minute men, from the start,
Always fighting from the heart,
And the Army keeps rolling along.

Then it’s Hi! Hi! Hey!
The Army’s on its way.
Count off the cadence loud and strong (TWO! THREE!)
For where e’er we go,
You will always know
That The Army Goes Rolling Along.

Men in rags, men who froze,
Still that Army met its foes,
And the Army went rolling along.
Faith in God, then we’re right,
And we’ll fight with all our might,
As the Army keeps rolling along.

Then it’s Hi! Hi! Hey!
The Army’s on its way.
Count off the cadence loud and strong (TWO! THREE!)
For where e’er we go,
You will always know
That The Army Goes Rolling Along.

"The Air Force Song"

Off we go into the wild blue yonder,
Climbing high into the sun;
Here they come zooming to meet our thunder,
At 'em boys, Give 'er the gun! (Give 'er the gun now!)
Down we dive, spouting our flame from under,
Off with one helluva roar!
We live in fame or go down in flame. Hey!
Nothing'll stop the U.S. Air Force!

Additional verses:

Minds of men fashioned a crate of thunder,
Sent it high into the blue;
Hands of men blasted the world asunder;
How they lived God only knew! (God only knew then!)
Souls of men dreaming of skies to conquer
Gave us wings, ever to soar!
With scouts before And bombers galore. Hey!
Nothing'll stop the U.S. Air Force!

Bridge: "A Toast to the Host"

Here's a toast to the host
Of those who love the vastness of the sky,
To a friend we send a message of his brother men who fly.
We drink to those who gave their all of old,
Then down we roar to score the rainbow's pot of gold.
A toast to the host of men we boast, the U.S. Air Force!

Zoom!

Off we go into the wild sky yonder,
Keep the wings level and true;
If you'd live to be a grey-haired wonder
Keep the nose out of the blue! (Out of the blue, boy!)
Flying men, guarding the nation's border,
We'll be there, followed by more!
In echelon we carry on. Hey!
Nothing'll stop the U.S. Air Force!
